Click here to learn more. This is a lot of fun! It's a chance to see the best Men's and Women's players from the Villages do battle with the Villages High School Varsity baseball and softball teams. Check it out if you can, you won't be disappointed, and it's for a good cause. All funds raised will benefit The Villages Honor Flight. Please contact Billy Bohn or Danny Shelley if you need more information.
The Board will meet on Thursday, November 12 at 9:00 at the Riverbend Rec Center. This is an open meeting, all are welcome.
Cycle Mania
Dave Sanders recently had a cycle in 2 consecutive games. That prompted me to do a little research. There have been 197 cycles in recorded D1 history. Not surprisingly, that total has more than doubled in just the last few years, since the advent of the "bionic ball". We have 12 this season, the most ever for a Fall season. The record is 20 set in the Winter 2026 season, and to complete the trifecta Summer 2026 holds the all-time Summer record with 9. Who are the career leaders? Glad you asked. #1 on the list is Mike Cudworth with 7, and #2 is Pete Zrinski with 6.
Here are the cycles this season:
